' Thank God It’s Christmas’는  Roger and Brian가 1984년 11월에 발매하게 되었습니다. 그 당시 다른 크리스마스 곡을 채치고 영국의 음원차트 상위권을 기록하는 곡이기도 하며, 크리스마스를 맞이하는 모든이에게 새 희망의 메세지를 남겨었습니다. 이렇게 퀸 밴드는 음악으로 아주 선한 영향력의 과시했습니다. 

 

 

"Thank God It's Christmas" was released by Roger and Brian in November 1984. It topped the UK music charts that holiday season, offering a message of renewed hope to those celebrating Christmas. In this way, Queen demonstrated their positive influence through music.

 

 

 

'Thank God It's Christmas'는 로저와 브라이언이 드물게 함께 작곡한 곡입니다. 이 곡은 1984년 크리스마스와 1985년 새해 기간 동안 영국 차트에서 6주간 머물렀습니다. 1995년 크리스마스에는 앨범 'Made In Heaven'의 히트 싱글 'A Winter's Tale'과 함께 다시 한번 큰 인기를 얻었습니다. 이번에 이 곡은 완전히 새로운 애니메이션으로 재탄생했습니다.

 

 

 

"‘Thank God It’s Christmas’ was a rare song writing collaboration between Roger and Brian. The song spent six weeks in the UK charts over the Christmas/New Year period 1984/1985. It enjoyed a second lease of life Christmas 1995 coupled with the hit single ‘A Winter’s Tale’ from the Made In Heaven album. 애니메이션을 통해서 그들이 생각하는 크리스마스의 메세지를 전한다.  Brian May and Roger Taylor는 Justin Moon와  Drew Gleason  지도하에서 직접 만들었다. 애니메이션 비디오는 크리스마스는 여러가지 피로와 스트레스를 받는 현대인을 향한 메세지로서 참된 평화와 쉼을 얻기를 바라는 간절함에 담겨져 있습니다.

 

They convey their Christmas message through animation. Created by Brian May and Roger Taylor under the direction of Justin Moon and Drew Gleason, the animated video expresses a fervent desire for true peace and rest — a message for modern people burdened by fatigue and stress.

 

퀸 그룹의 창시자로 알려진 브라이언 메이와 로져 테일러는 명목상의 밴드를 유지하는 인물이지만, 이미 퀸은 해체되었다. 프레디 머큐리의 사망과 동시에 그룹의 활동이 중단 될 수밖에 없었다. 그를 대신할 보컬을 찾을 수가 없었고 무엇보다 이 밴드의 생명을 안겨다 준 목소리는 프리디 메큐리 뿐이었습니다.

 

 

Brian May and Roger Taylor, the founders of Queen, have nominally kept the band going, but Queen effectively disbanded after Freddie Mercury's death. The group could not find a replacement vocalist, and above all, the voice that gave the band its life was Mercury's.
